Sammy Ahmed leads the marketing, operations, product, and support teams at name.com. He directs the strategy and day-to-day operations of the registrar. As a seasoned operator, Sammy has spent over a dozen years leading consumer and enterprise go-to-market teams.
Prior to Name.com, Sammy built and scaled high-performing teams at prominent tech companies like Cameo, Twitter, and TechCrunch, where he played a key role in launching and growing consumer products. Sammy holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Outside of work, Sammy enjoys spending time hiking the Colorado mountains with his wife, son, and two dogs. He is also an avid reader of science fiction and non-fiction, and a massive basketball fan
