Andrew Merriam is the COO of Porkbun.com, the most memorable registrar to launch and scale in the past decade. As a founding member of the company he now leads partnerships, personnel, and strategy. Prior to the focus on Porkbun.com, Andrew led the parent company’s vertically integrated domain name registry. The registry business grew for over 10 years and resulted in the application for 10 TLDs, growth and management of 5 TLDs — including the marquee brands of .design and .gay, and the successful exit through acquisition. Andrew’s experience means he sees the industry through the lens of both a registrar and registry operator with an appreciation of the opportunities presented by legacy and new top-level domains. With that said, he’d rather be talking about his kids.
