Sé Reed is the co-founder and CEO of The WP Open Community Collective (The WPOCC). The WPOCC's mission is to support and empower open source contributors and foster a healthier, more sustainable open source ecosystem.
Sé is deeply involved in community advocacy, with more than 20 years of experience organizing and developing community movements at a local, national, and global level. She specializes in systems development and strategic planning, building the infrastructure — governance models, funding mechanisms, and participation pathways — that allows communities to sustain themselves over the long term.
A contributor to the WordPress ecosystem since 2012, Sé brings her systems-first approach to her work with The WPOCC, translating community sentiment and lived contributor experience into concrete programs, from member support structures to in-person local events designed to strengthen connection across the ecosystem.
