Emmit McHenry is an Internet pioneer, entrepreneur, and technology executive best known as the co-founder of Network Solutions, the company that became the first registrar of Internet domain names and helped bring the Domain Name System into widespread public use.
Founded in 1979, Network Solutions played a central role in the early commercialization and growth of the Internet, helping establish many of the systems that made online navigation practical and accessible.
