Who: Familiar faces Jothan Frakes and James Morfopoulos will be in attendance at TDC this year, and we’ll also have our new NamesCon event producer, Terri Potratz, on hand to get acquainted with you. Terri’s background is in marketing, communications and publishing – but she’s a newcomer to domain-land and looking forward to learning about the industry, so be sure to come introduce yourself!
What: Terri has a weird passion for…typewriters. She owns three, and writes actual letters on them. So we thought, what better way to welcome Terri than invite her to bring one of her passions to the table! She’ll be on hand at the NamesCon booth throughout the duration of the conference helping you type out postcards to send home to your friends and family – and we’re even going to take care of the postage and mailing for you. We’ll also have a lounge area with a mobile power station set up, so come have a chat and a charge with us!
Why: This is also a great opportunity for you to share any suggestions, ideas or feedback about how we can continue to improve NamesCon. We produce this event for you, so we’re always striving to meet the evolving standards and expectations of our community – and that begins with a conversation. We’d like to thank DomainShane for getting the ball rolling as he shared his own ideas earlier this week.
Where: Look for the NamesCon banners within the exhibit space, and listen for the clattering of those typewriter keys. More information on TDC, taking place in Fort Lauderdale September 26-29, can be found here.
